One of the most common questions that I am asked by reiki first degree students and those who have yet to decide if they would like to study a reiki course is, will I be able to do it.
The answer is yes!
We are all born with the ability to heal others.
Remember back to when you were a child, if you fell over and hurt yourself chances are that a parent or caregiver would put their hands over the area and possibly rub it to “make it better”.
When young children draw picture of people, they often draw a band of energy or light, a halo around someone’s head.
I absolutely believe that we can all heal, we just need to know how to do it.
When I teach students on my reiki first degree course how to work with the energy and how to treat other’s there is a magical moment when they realise that yes, they too can “do” reiki.
