As a reiki master/teacher, when I ask my students why they wish to learn reiki I am often told that they have felt a calling to learn it, they feel drawn to reiki in a way which is difficult to put into words.
I believe that this calling is due to a person becoming more intuitive.
When we go with our instinct, often our gut instinct, we feel that we know we have made the right decision for us.
We are all far more intuitive than we think but we often ignore those gut feelings and instead go with what our head is telling us. When we think logically, choosing to go against our intuition, we often regret that decision.
When this happens we say to ourselves, I knew that was the wrong decision to make!
What is Intuition?
Intuition isn’t magic where an answer suddenly appears in your head, like it seems to be. Intuition, or instinctively knowing, comes from accessing a deep seated knowledge that is stored away in our brain. Unlike using logic to come to an answer, we don’t follow the steps we would usually take to arrive there, we unthinkingly access our buried knowledge.
In other words we don’t consciously work it out, we just know!
